MS Dhoni last played for Team India in the 2019 World Cup. He stayed away from cricket for over a year before announcing his retirement. He continues to lead CSK till 2023. Anil Kumble

Anil Kumble retired from international cricket in 2008 but continued playing after that. Kumble was made the captain of RCB during IPL 2009 and continued his success. Sourav Ganguly
